Parents of junior high students and soon to be high school students. The local school board and it's trustees are using a "Pick & Choose" approach to whom they release out of the district and it is blatant discrimination. There does not seem to be any method to the madness and are not taking the reason of "We were promised a High School" anymore. The good "ol" boys on the board of trustees are king of the mountain, big bully on campus.

Post what you know.

I concur. Id like to know what the approach is that allows students in. We moved here with the intention of a HS being available when our child reached that age. Now they are saying that folks who moved here prior to 2005 or 06 cant use that as an excuse anymore? Well frankly that is exactly who should be exempt, those that were told this was a "planned community" and that resources would be available for our growing families. Unfortunately Mr. Leaman not all of us have the $$ to relocate so I beg to differ as to them not letting this reason be used as an "excuse" for not letting kids in to neighboring Whitney HS. I think it is very unfortunate that we have to beg and plead to get our children into this other HS. Lincoln HS kids who take the bus dont even reach the Twelve Bridges community for at least an hour, I know Ive seen it with neighboring kids. Its disgraceful that my tax money pays for this kind of arrangement.
